Aunque los movimientos migratorios de personas parecen algo propio de nuestra época, lo cierto es que se remontan a muchísimos años atrás. Según los científicos hace aproximadamente 70 mil años que el primer grupo de migrantes salió de África.
Desde este primer viaje hasta la actualidad la humanidad ha evolucionado mucho. Sin embargo los movimientos migratorios se han mantenido inalterables a pesar del paso del tiempo y de los avances tecnológicos y hoy día es un fenómeno que sigue moviendo a millones de personas alrededor del mundo.
